School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently entitled to a Universal Free School Meal funded by the government.

The meal cost for Nursery children is £2.20 plus a lunch club fee of £3.50 and for Years 3 and 4 the meal cost is £2.35.

From September 2017 the meal cost for Nursery children will be £2.25 plus a lunch club fee of £3.60 and for Years 3 and 4 the meal cost will be £2.40.

Our ‘Pupils Choice’ menu continues to be successful since its introduction.

Pupils choose and pre-order their lunchtime meal from a daily meal menu. They can choose to have a traditional main meal, a vegetarian filled jacket potato or pasta dish or a healthy lunch box. The children then get the meal they want every day.

Home packed lunches:

Please avoid including any nut products in you child’s packed lunch (i.e. peanut butter) as we have children with severe nut allergies in school. Drinks in a carton or sports bottle need to be contained within the packed lunch box.  Water is also provided.  It is important for parents to note that we aim for packed lunches to be provided that also give children a healthy balanced meal, so please do not give children fizzy drinks and sweets.
