We have had a busy few weeks in Reception! 
We are continuing to practise our writing in different ways, for example, using post-it notes, secret pens and whiteboards.  We have been learning the phrase ‘it is a…’ and writing our tricky words. 
We’ve also enjoyed investigating the wild area and seeing what we can find in nature to show that autumn is here! 
This term, we’ve been learning about winter festivals.  As part of our topic, we have been painting firework pictures and doing firework dancing with scarfs in P.E.  We’ve been learning about Remembrance day, Bonfire night, Diwali and how we celebrate our birthdays and will soon be moving onto thinking about how we celebrate Christmas.
