Seasonal Art:

Throughout the year, the children will be tracking how the tree in the courtyard responds to the seasons and sketching these changes.

Youth Speaks:

The children did an excellent job of preparing and then presenting their ‘Youth Speak’s presentations to the year group.

Rainforest drama:

In the build up to our substantial piece of story writing, the children acted out a day as a member of The Yanomami indigenous group in the Amazon Rainforest. 

The day began around the fire in the yano and then, having prepared for the day ahead, we made our way through the rainforest to hunt, fish and gather. We then crept back to the yano, so as not to anger the puma, until we ended the day with a celebratory feast complete with dancing and singing.
