Achievement – Celebration – Teamwork

Busy Spring Term 2!

Dance festival

Some of the Year 4 children recently went to a dance festival at KJAR. They learnt the dance in their lunch time break and had such a fun time learning it and showing it at the dance festival. It was lovely to see all the children and dances from other schools all so different, yet wonderful.

Transition at King James – Science and Art Day

Recently we spent a wonderful morning at King James Academy Royston, where we did 2 science investigations and an art activity. It was a fabulous opportunity for the children to get to know their next school’s surroundings and meet some of their future teachers.

K’nex challenge

Mrs Ready recently came into our school to do the k’nex challenge with our children. Every year she gives up her time to come and deliver it. Our children did so well, and our winners were elated. This year they were all girls! The project this year was to build a fair ground ride. They had to think of the structure and make it sturdy as well as get it to do what it is meant to do for its purpose.
