‘An Ofsted outstanding school’

Summer Term in Year 3.

We started off the summer term with our topic on Anglo Saxons where the children learnt all about life as an Anglo Saxon and even made some bread rolls for a Saxon Feast!

We then moved on to our Roald Dahl Topic which ended with our Event day, where the children took part in fun activities linked to different Roald Dahl books.

The children have enjoyed lots of sports this term including swimming lessons, Sport’s Day and Schoolympics!

They have made chocolate boxes in DT and performed songs for our parent reading helpers.

The children have all worked very hard and we hope you all have a lovely summer.

The Year 3 children played their recorders beautifully in a final Music assembly.
The whole school sang along to Sweet Caroline at the end of the assembly.
It was fabulous!
