The Gingerbread Man has been carrying on his travels around the world this month. He started off by visiting Italy. We used our creative skills to make our own boats like the ones found in Venice and then tested them to see if they were able to float. We looked at the Italian flag and learned how to use water colour paints to make our own 3 coloured flags. It was lots of fun to make and eat our own tasty pizzas, we worked hard to spread the sauce carefully and choose our own toppings.

Next the Gingerbread Man travelled to Greece. We used the atlases and globe to find Greece and talked how far away it was from England. We have listened to the story of The Trojan Horse and have used our large construction area outside to make our own versions – surprising our friends by jumping out on them! In our creative skills time, we have been experimenting with different kinds of printing materials to create fantastic blue and white art work.
