Our school is a large two form entry First School, Nursery to Year 4. Our children range from the age of 3 to 9 years. At the end of Year 4 the children move onto the middle and upper school.
Lunch Session – 11.30 am to 12.30 pm
Afternoon Session – 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm ( flexible pick-up time 3.00 pm – 3.30 pm)
- Pupils should not arrive at school before 8.35am (unless they are attending breakfast club or nursery)
- Doors will open at 8.40am and closed at 8:45am
Registration
- Registers close in class at 8.45am and at 1.15pm. Registers are marked consistently by staff
- Any pupil arriving after the register has been closed but before 9.15am will be marked as ‘late’
- Any pupil arriving after 9.15am will be marked as absent for the whole of the session
- For the afternoon session, any pupil arriving after 1.30pm will be marked as absent for that session
- Registers will be marked in accordance with DfE guidance
12.10pm to 1.10pm (Year 3 and Year 4)
I am proud to be head teacher of such a unique and special school. It has a happy and caring atmosphere, which is the result of us all working together as part of the team; children, staff, parents, carers and governors. We all strive to ensure that the children achieve as well as they can and help them to develop a love of learning.
We follow a largely creative curriculum which aims to motivate and stimulate the children’s interests by making the learning relevant and exciting. We aim for our children to leave us well equipped with the skills and knowledge to help them in their next steps in education and to have the resilience and perseverance to keep trying to achieve their best.
