As part of our maths this term we have explored statistics. We have looked at how to record information in tables and tally charts as well as how to interpret information from them. At the end of the week, we had a go at creating our own block graphs from our tally charts. We can even tell you what an axis is!
We were fortunate enough to have a workshop delivered to us by Stagecoach. We played a variety of different acting games, and we thought of the different ways that we could move our bodies to represent different things. It was so much fun!
Thank you, Stagecoach.
To mark the end of our topic we celebrated with a Medieval Day, remembering all we had learnt about monarchs and castles.
To start the event, we performed a special Kings and Queens dance in front of our parents. We tried to juggle like jesters, solve riddles and we tasted some Royal School of Icknield Walk banquet food!
We even dressed up to look the part, take a look at some of those homemade crowns, aren’t they fabulous!
