We have had a very busy April in Nursery.
We started the month by learning about Spring; talking about the changes we can see in the weather and the world around us. We went on a Spring Hunt around the school to find different signs of Spring. We also began planting seeds and flowers.
We were all very excited when a farmer let us look after some eggs and so pleased when they hatched. The chicks were very cute. We did lots of work linked to chicks – cutting, drawing and even used chicks to help us with our positional language. When the chicks had grown a little, we were very brave and got to have a closer look, some of our friends held them too. We were sad to see them go but we know the farmer will look after them.
