Achievement – Celebration – Teamwork

Prehistoric Britain and Remembrance Day

This month, we continued our topic work on Prehistoric Britain by going on a trip to Celtic Harmony, where we found out how people lived in the Iron Age. We took part in lots of activities, like trading, bracelet dying, soup and bread making, and weaving. We took inspiration from our trip and did some of our own weaving back in the classroom.

We also celebrated Remembrance Day. We took part in a livestream by Blue Cross which told us all about how animals helped the war effort in WW1.
Then we wrote some of our own Remembrance day shape poems, in the shape of poppies.
