Year 2 were invited to take part in a football festival at Royston Town Football Club with other schools. During the morning Year 2 took part in a variety of different activities such as mini matches and shooting led by sports leaders from KJAR. The morning was so much fun, and everyone gave it a go! It was made even more special by being able to play on the actual pitch – we all felt like proper footballers!!
Year 2 classes were tasked with designing a new tiger enclosure for Banham Zoo ahead of their upcoming trip there. First, they designed a suitable enclosure based on design criteria. Next, they joined components together to create an enclosure and then they added finishing touches such as a pond. It was so incredible to see how these really took shape!
