We have had a busy half term in Year 1! The children have loved their superheroes topic, in particular making shields for their own superheroes that they have designed. We even had a visit from a real-life superhero Mrs Hansen who is a doctor. She shared with us what life is like as a doctor in her hospital and we compared her hospital to the hospitals that Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole worked in.
We also had an RE event this half-term where we learnt about lots of different religions. The children explored a range of beliefs and traditions, tried different foods, and enjoyed visits from people of different faiths who shared their experiences with us.
